April 2013 Pet of the Month – “PRECIOUS” Esposito
Date: April 1, 2013Calusa Veterinary Center would like to introduce our April 2013 “Pet of the Month”.
She is “PRECIOUS” Esposito.
“Precious” was a scruffy little rescue dog who came to the Esposito Family at Christmas time by way of “Animal Aid” when they still had a Boca
Chapter, 2 years ago. She was found roaming the streets in Ft.Lauderdale. When they came
across her in a large pen with about 5 other dogs, she was the only one who did not bark or jump or try to get
their attention, Mrs. Esposito picked her up, sat her on her lap and they bonded for an hour and then brought her home.
Mr. Esposito wasn’t too sure about keeping her as she wasn’t exactly a social butterfly, but things took a turn and she
became the apple of his eye. The little gal has been through a lot and they say they have Dr. Krawitz, Calusa and staff
to thank for helping her through. She has brought so much joy to their lives and wish to say thank you for making her Calusa’s “pinup” pet for April.
