December 2013 Pet of the Month – “SAMMY” Ferguson
Date: December 1, 2013Calusa Veterinary Center would like to introduce our December 2013 “Pet of the Month”.
He is “SAMMY” Ferguson.
Sammy and his brother, Willie, were left on my front lawn by a local feral cat when they were about one week old. I fed them with a bottle and kitten formula until they were six weeks old. Now, twelve years later, Sammy is in remission from Diabetes and has lost about three pounds from Insulin and a low carbohydrate diet under the care of Dr. Sinclair. He is a friendly, lovable lap cat who loves to hunt lizards in my back yard.
Congratulations to “SAMMY” Ferguson and family for being voted as Calusa’s November 2013 Pet of the Month!
