Eugenie Bucher, VMD

Dr. Eugenie Bucher received her undergraduate degree from Pennsylvania State University prior to attending Temple University for her Masters. Motivated by her passion for animals, she continued her education at the University of Pennsylvania and received her Veterinariae Medicinae Doctoris in 1992. Highly trained, Dr. Bucher has practiced emergency critical care medicine and surgery throughout the entirety of her career. Her compassionate nature is undeniable as she is an avid veterinary volunteer at events such as the Iditarod Sled Dog Race in Alaska in 2002, 2003, and 2005. During the summer of 2013, Dr. Bucher provided care for hundreds of animals at Big Dog Ranch Rescue and notably performed over four-hundred spay-neuter procedures as well as treated over two-hundred trauma cases! When she is away from the hospital, Dr. Bucher indulges in her favorite past time and guilty pleasure – golfing.
