Ignacio Casali, DVM
Dr. Ignacio Casali is a Veterinarian at Calusa Veterinary Center. He attended Queens University of Charlotte for his bachelor of science in biology, and went on to earn his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2019. He also completed his clinical year at the University of Florida. Dr. Casali’s areas of professional interest include emergency medicine, surgery, and oncology.
Growing up in Argentina, Dr. Casali had a lot of pets and accompanied them on trips to the veterinarian. He looks back on those veterinarians as his childhood heroes, and is inspired to have a similar impact in other people’s lives. Dr. Casali says the best part of working in the veterinary field is watching the recovery of patients; especially those who would not have survived without medical care.
Dr. Casali was born and raised in Bahail Blanca, Argentina until he was fifteen. His family then moved to Long Island, NY where he finished his last two years of High School, and shortly after moved to Charlotte, NC to attend college. He currently lives in Fort Lauderdale, FL with his mixed breed black lab / border collie, Branca, and beagle, Coca. In his free time, he enjoys playing tennis, running, going to the beach, and traveling.
