May 2015 Pet of the Month – “MATTIE” Greenberg.
Date: May 1, 2015Calusa Veterinary Center would like to introduce our May 2015 ”Pet of the Month”.
She is “MATTIE” Greenberg.
Mattie was a 9 month old Craig’s List Rescue when she came into our life. As a pup she displayed her independent Westitude and loved to play ice hockey in the yard during Maryland winters. At 2 1/2 she developed an auto immune disease that manifested itself in IBD and arthritis in her joints.
Her love of life, people, lizard hunting and the vets that have helped keep her going to age 9 1/2 is a constant reminder of how important it is to enjoy friendships, life and the good days in spite of pain. (Photo shows Mattie in our Hyperbaric chamber.)
