Cindy Krane, DVM

Dr. Cindy Krane grew up in Montreal, Canada where she graduated from McGill University in 1987 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree. Her sincere love for animals motivated her to attend Purdue University where she graduated with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1994. Completing externships at the National Aquarium in Baltimore, Maryland and the National Zoological Park in Washington, D.C., Dr. Krane continued to gain experience and refine her skill set.
Before moving to South Florida in 2003, Dr. Krane began her career in small animal medicine in multi-doctor hospitals in Northern Virginia and later Maryland. In 2006, Dr. Krane joined the team at Calusa’s new state-of-the-art facility. She believes she has found the perfect place to provide informed, compassionate, high-quality health care to every patient she sees. Dr. Krane is also a proud member of the AAFP.
A resident of Boca Raton, Dr. Krane lives with her husband and high school aged children. She has 2 dogs (a 4 lb. Chihuahua and a 140 lb. Neapolitan Mastiff), and 4 1/2 cats. Her other family members include micro mini pigs, giant tortoises, and rescue animal-du-jour.
