November 2014 Pet of the Month – ”GIRL CAT” Schuler

November 2014 Pet of the Month – ”GIRL CAT” Schuler
Date: November 1, 2014Calusa Veterinary Center would like to introduce our November 2014 “Pet of the Month”.
She is ”GIRL CAT” Schuler.
We adopted Girl Cat from a neighbor who could not keep her anymore. The first few weeks we had her, she hid under a bed, only coming out when coaxed. Once she was acclimated to her new home, she quickly became the sweetest little cat I’ve ever owned. She can’t get/give enough affection and she talks more than any cat I’ve ever known, always with a hint of attitude. She recently got very sick, and we thought she wasn’t going to make it, but thanks to the dedicated team at Calusa, she was able to overcome her illness and make a full recovery. She is back to purring, and squawking, and cuddling and playing and being the sweet, adorable little Girl Cat I’ve grown to love. Her name was Tiger when we adopted her, and this name just didn’t really fit right with us. There were already two boy cats in the house, so we called her Girl Cat until we could come up with a better name, which we never did. Girl Cat stuck.
Congratulations to “GIRL CAT” Schuler and family for being voted as Calusa’s November 2014 Pet of the Month!
